I finally heard from the editor and she made way more suggestions than what I was comfortable with. Her suggestions made sense, but I felt as if she weren’t trying to connect with what I was trying to portray as a writer. She told me that I need to either have it young adult or erotica. I don’t want to write any more sex scenes because I don’t want to be trashy. I don’t want to be the next Zane. Although her writing is great, I am not in to that type of material. Ugh…so I am unsure of where to turn next. I’m not going to give up on my writing or this manuscript. I just may have to self-publish this instead of relying on others to do it for me. Hey I hear that’s the way to go anyway. The royalties are better!
Last, I’m not sure if I’m pregnant. I don’t want to alarm anyone or give false hope. I’ll wait until next month to know for sure.
